Potato and cheese quick bake
Serves 4 - 6
Degree of difficulty: Low
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 50 minutes
Ingredients
1 kg peeled and quartered medium innovator potatoes
400ml of milk
4 egg yolks seperated from whites
4 egg whites beaten until stiff
250gm grated cheese
Small ammount of butter to grease dish
Seasoning to taste
Method
- Preheat oven to moderate temperature.
- Boil or microwave potatoes until tender.
- Drain and mash well.
- Stirr in egg yolks, milk, cheese and seasoning then fold in egg whites.
- Place potato mixture in oven proof dish lightly buttered and bake in moderate oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
